Just an FYI for those selling textbooks for EXP 105: Personal Dimensions of Education. I read the following information on the Student Portal in the news section and verified it through the course guides.:(
Effective on Nov. 3, 2009, S.K. Ferrett's Peak Performances was replaced with a new textbook, Alexander, M., Clugston, W., Tice, E. (2009). The R-Model for learning online and achieving lifelong goals.
For most of us once we take a course we do not go back and verify what the current required materials may be. I thought I would share this for those who have the past material posted to prevent possible sales problems and also answer the possible question of why the book is not selling. For those on the purchasing side, it is always recommended to check your course materials before purchasing.

Thank you for this information on this class. I checked it, and you are absolutely right. What's the Rule? is not used any longer for this class. This is a great book for punctuation, grammar, and sentencing though. So if anyone needs help as far as properly writing a paper, and what words, grammar and sentencing style should be used, it will still be a real helpful book. I know that I looked back on this and The Little, Brown Compact Handbook often, to help with writing a proper paper.

Thanks for the information. It seems to me that when someone is buying a book they should do the research to know what they need to buy but unfornately, some studnets don't even check. I have listed some of my books that I knew was old because some other schools still use it. But I always tell on my post that is it an older edition. It really is the buyers responisbilty to know what they are buying. Thanks for reminding us all, life@fifty. .
